Whilst I love to watch my period dramas and films on the TV if I’m honest I’d gladly give up my TV in favour for a radio. I love listening to music, whether I’m dashing around completely the household chores, bopping around the living room with the children or singing along to my favourite tunes whilst I work. For me, I think I would be lost without music.
One of the issues I’ve found in our new home is that I spend a lot of the time in the kitchen, especially during meal times with the children etc. Now this isn’t a problem as such as they are their own source of entertainment. However, when it is just Piglet and I during the day I do like to have a little singalong as I empty the dishwasher etc. Piglet, of course, enjoys my dancing and singing (don’t laugh), however, up until recently we didn’t have a radio in the kitchen. That was until I found and fell in love with the VQ Retro Mini DAB+ Radio Wallflower.

The beautiful VQ Retro Mini is available in a number of different colour options, although for me it was the Emma Bridgewater collection that caught my eye. The timeless cream fascia carefully encased with the Emma Bridgewater Wallflower design. The VQ Mini Retro looks like a piece of art sitting on the corner of my worktop. Complete with a carry handle and tag it offers that little touch of luxury to what is a household appliance.
Arriving packaged carefully in a matching box. The attention to detail continues with the instructions and guarantee placed within a cute brown envelope, rather than just thrown in the box or in a plastic sleeve.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
I love it!
As someone who is a plug and play person, I love how easy the VQ Retro Mini DAB+ Radio is to set up. Finding and storing my favourite radio stations can be completed with a couple presses. And the sound, oh the sound is fantastic. So clear and crisp that it just encourages you to join in singing along with the songs.
Personally, I’m loving the flexibility of being able to use this as a standalone item with batteries or with a standard mains plug allows me to take the radio around the house depending on what I am doing. The VQ Retro Mini is currently sitting on my office desk as I work, willing me on to complete some more of my ever growing to-do list.
