As a family, we love to hop in the car and head out on family adventures. over the years we have gotten better at packing what we will need throughout the day. Our days of taking a pushchair along with us are behind us. This means that packing for a family day out is even more important as anything we pack or buy along the way will be carried by one of us. Oh, how I miss being able to simply shove yet another bag etc, in the basket under the pushchair.
We tend to pack one rucksack that houses everything from food and drinks to spare clothes/rain macs. As well as our valuables such as phones/cameras, keys and purse/wallet. This tends to work well for us when we are all together. However, when we opt to divide and conquer in order for the different aged children to enjoy different activities we are left with a predicament over who takes what.
