Framlingham Castle
Run by the English Heritage, the Framlingham Castle was once a fearsome fortress. Visiting the castle now, you will see the towering walls that Mary Tudor was proclaimed Queen of England. Visit the castle to see the exhibition and walk the grounds. See the breathtaking view and enjoy the cafe.
Southwold Lighthouse
Located in the middle of historic resort of Southwold stands the Southwold Lighthouse, the landmark that helps vessels navigate the shoreline of the Southwold Harbour. It offers guided tours from knowledgable tour guides.
The Amber Shop & Museum
If you love amber, then this shop and museum are worth visiting. For over 100 years, the Amber Shop & Museum has been cutting, shaping and polishing local amber. This amber is unique to the East Coast of England. They offer an extensive range of traditional and contemporary jewellery. The Amber Museum is the only museum built in Great Britain to tell about the history of Amber. The museum features carvings and artefacts from around the world. With free entry, this is a place not to miss.
Crabbing in Walberwick
If you enjoy crabbing, Walberswick in Suffolk is very popular. Families come to the area especially for the crabbing each year during the summer months. Since 1981, there has been the British Open Crabbing championship. Bring your bucket, weighted string, and bait.
