Last Friday Tigger came out of school proudly holding the class Zebra. As he walked over he shouted ‘Mummy, Look!’ waving it in the air. Before telling me that he had to take it on adventures all weekend and take it back on Monday.
When we got home Tigger decided he needed to name the Zebra so we looked up names beginning with Z on his tablet. After looking at all the options he decided upon Zane the Ninja Zebra!
Tired from a week at school, Friday evening was enjoyed in pyjamas and watching Netflix. With Tigger introducing Zane to the LEGO Ninjago team.
With Mr Boo working all weekend we decided to have a day at home in the garden on Saturday. Tigger was able to try out his new bike and with Zane tucked into his top for the ride.
Up until recently Tigger has never shown any interest in getting a bike, however, I think after seeing his friends ride to school on their bikes he has decided that he’d like one too. With his stabilisers on he is ready to gain confidence with riding his bike before making the jump to no stabilisers.
With his bike riding practice over he didn’t to see whether Zane liked the slides. We have the baby slide from when Roo and Tigger were little as well as a bigger one that we bought the other week. Tigger made me laugh as he thought that the bigger slide would be too scary for Zane to go down on his own so had to sit on his lap – bless him.
Sunday was filled with all the jobs that we didn’t do on Saturday which included a trip to buy new school shoes, a peek in the Disney Store, hunting for Skylanders Trap Team traps and food shopping. Thankfully we didn’t manage to lose Zane anywhere on our trip round the city.
