High School, Organisation and #BlogOnXmas #LittleLoves

I’m sure that someone has sneaked a few extra days into this week.  Which in some ways is a good thing as it feels like I have been here, there and everywhere this week.  On the other hand, I just haven’t been feeling 100% so I’ve wished for bedtime to come around quicker more than once.  The big milestone this week has been going to look at a local high school for Roo.  Not quite sure I’m ready for her to move up to high school next year but I know that she is ready for the next challenge.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Dragon Puppets, and A Lost Tooth #LittleLoves

Friday once again and I have no idea where this week has gone. With a weekend full of trips into the city for a dragon puppet workshop with Norwich Puppet Theatre. They were awarded almost £5,000 from the Aviva Community Fund for their Voice of a Child work.  The children had a fantastic time and we just about managed to dodge the rain showers.  Followed by a family get together on Sunday to celebrate Mr. Boo’s birthday.  Everything after that is a blur of school runs, food shopping, and cleaning.

Time to share this week’s #LittleLoves…

Victoria, Back To School and Wedding Anniversary #LittleLoves

The past week has provided me with both highs and lows.  If I’m honest the lows have really hit me hard and I’m ready for this week to be over.  With me almost writing off our family car after a lorry cut me up on a junction.  Thankfully I managed to swerve and smashed it up a curb – resulting in two shredded tyres.  So as someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, it has been an emotional week.

All of my babies are home! They’ve had a lovely time with Granny and have come home full of stories about their adventures.  It is lovely to have Roo and Tigger home though, Piglet especially has missed them.  I wish I had filmed her reaction when she woke up on Monday morning to find them home.

I’ve been quite emotional this week.  A mixture of womanly hormones and missing Roo and Tigger.  I’ve found myself crying at TV programmes, sobbing in the cinema and getting annoyed with myself when things don’t go to plan.

Tomorrow I make the journey back ‘up north’ to see and collect my two oldest babies.  I’m so excited to see them again and start our summer of fun together.

Beamish, Yellow and Mama #LittleLoves

Last weekend I made the trip ‘up north’ to take Roo and Tigger to stay with their Granny.  On the way, we decided to take a detour and spend the day at Beamish Museum with Jen from The Mad House. It was such a beautiful day and the perfect way to break up the six-hour drive.
