There are days when I look at my children count my blessings that when they are older and I am gone they will have each other. There are other days when I’m not sure if there is any love at all between them, fight after fight, argument after argument. On the whole I am very lucky in that they will play nicely with each other, help each other when they need it and offer cuddles when the other is upset (usually because I have told them off for something or another).
Joining in with Siblings for the first time I am keen to try to link up each month to share the moments when I manage to capture Roo and Tigger together.
The past month has been a hive of activity for us as a family with days out, activities and of course Christmas…
Roo and Tigger have enjoyed a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop…
With a to-do as long as my arm I decided to blow it off in favour of taking the children to one of the Kid’s Club film showings at our local cinema. After seeing The Book of Life we opted to walk home along the seafront, it was a little brisk but it was lovely to watch Roo holding Tigger’s hand so he wouldn’t blow away.
After completing our advent calendars and singing all the sleeps to Santa, Christmas Day finally arrived in the Polka Dot Family house. With present opening getting a little much for Tigger, Roo kindly tried to console him with a hug as they opened up their joint present Disney Infinity…
Back to school didn’t go quite to plan with Roo’s school shut for an extra day due to a faulty boiler. Thankfully with Tigger only in pre-school for a half day on a Tuesday we opted to spend the afternoon in our local SEA LIFE Centre, looking at the fish, grabbing some lunch and burning off some energy in the play area. Just before we left I managed to get this snap of them both, which I really love…
