I often look at my children and wonder whether the bond they share will continue throughout their lives. As they get older will they sit want to spend time together, look out for each other and above all love each other as they do now.
They have their moments, like any siblings but on the whole they work well as a team and are each others biggest fans. If I tease one of them about something the other will tell me to leave them alone, usually followed by a comforting hug to make sure they are all right. It is really quite endearing to watch.
The past month has seen a return to our family routine of school and pre-school all week with weekends the time when we manage to get together and enjoy time together.
From trips to our local SEA LIFE Centre, watching the fish, jellyfish and saying hello to their favourite penguin, Boomer.
To enjoying time at home… Sundays are made for staying in your pyjamas, dressing up and enjoying a film whilst snuggled on the sofa. This is how I often find them first thing in a morning whilst I prepare breakfast, snuggled on the sofa together as they haven’t seen each other all night.
Tigger received a tablet of his own from ‘Santa’ this Christmas. Having downloaded some of the same apps that Roo enjoys I love how he asks for her help on some of the games. Whether Tigger is playing his tablet or Roo is on hers they sit together happily watching and laughing along to the action.
