One of the best things we ever bought for Roo was a scooter. She crazed us for ages before we gave in and bought one as we thought it would be a passing phase and then it would sit unloved in the garden. This is not the case, and she loves to take it with her when we go out. Especially since we moved house and we live in a safer estate for her to be completing her scooter trips.
Over the summer she has become much more adventurous with her scooter and has started to do scooter tricks. Although doing the tricks on the grass is a little more challenging so I have had to turn down the control freak knob in me and let her race up and down the park etc. jumping and twisting along.
Scooter tips and tricks for beginners
Whilst some tricks she has picked up from seeing her friends whizz up and down, we have been looking for more tips and tricks to complete. Plus instruction on how to complete scooters tricks them as no matter how many YouTube videos she has watched she can’t seem to grasp how to do with by copying them.
As she is still finding her feet when it comes to scooter tricks we have been trying to master some of the basics like the Hippy Jump, Pogo and the Pop-Up Wheelie (although this one is causing her a few issues).
With a summer of scooting action, she has now decided that maybe she needs an upgraded scooter for her birthday or Christmas. Ideally, I think a two wheeled scooter would be best for completing scooter tricks. Any suggestions on which one would be best to buy her?
