It’s that time of the year again when the children are wishing for every new toy that appears on the TV adverts. When lists are written and sent off to the big man in the hope that we have been good enough all year to find something special under the Christmas tree. When I have to think of what special something I’d like to find under the tree this year. Well…
Santa baby, slip a sofa under the tree for me
You see Santa, having learnt our lesson when Roo was born me switched from fabric sofas to leather sofas as they were much easier to clean up etc. Two children and eight years later they have taken a battering and snuggling up with Mr Boo to watch a film on a Saturday night isn’t as comfortable as it once was.
So this year Santa I’d really love a new leather sofa, maybe a wonderful corner sofa with recliner seats, a cosy chesterfield or a sofa large enough to fit all four of us on would be perfect. I’m not fussy, I just want to be able to sit and relax comfortably, enjoy family time and date night snuggles with Mr Boo.
So Santa baby, slip a sofa under the tree for me – and I’ll even let you enjoy the first relaxing sit down on it, but not for too long as you have all those other presents to deliver.
I’ve been a good girl, honest!
