The past few weeks has seen a revival in my energy levels that have been somewhat lacking throughout my pregnancy. This has come with a big welcome from Roo and Tigger who never seem to be in short supply of energy and none more so than when we are out and about. With the British weather doing its best to put us off on exploring outdoors we have had to grab opportunities of dry weather and run with it.
Saltrock Clothing | And so the adventure begins
With some bright, albeit chilly mornings we have taken to leaving the house a little earlier before school starts. Parking the car on the seafront, leaving school bags and coats in the car, donning their Saltrock hoodies and heading off on an adventure. Standing on the slipway down to the sand dunes planning their route to find the Scroby Sands turbines.
Saltrock Swirl Logo Fur Lined Hoody
The Saltrock Swirl Logo Fur Lined Hoody offers that warm and snuggly hoody on a cool day that is easily popped on and off with its full length zipped fastening. The Saltrock appliqué design offers that touch of interest to the front of the hoody without it distracting from the grown up feel of the hoody (when you are a tween these things matter… a lot!).
Complete with two small pockets they are big enough to pop your hands in to keep them warm or for collecting a few seashells found along the shoreline.
Saltrock Rock TV Pop-Over Hoody
Tigger has the Saltrock Rock TV Pop-Over Hoody which whilst is not fur-lined like Roo’s is still warm enough for him to wear over a jumper (especially at the rate he runs around over the sand dunes). I ordered him the next size up of 5/6 years to allow for him to have a chunky jumper underneath and whilst it is still baggy on him it will last him throughout the winter and at least in the spring months too.
The navy hoody comes with a contrasting blue lining within the hood which is then followed through to the rock TV pop design on the front of the hoody. With one large pocket on the front of the hoody it allows Tigger to keep his gloves in there when he isn’t using them or in Tigger’s case store a collection of different pebbles he has collected from the beach.
Saltrock Kids Clearance
Whilst I was shopping on the Saltrock site to purchase Roo and Tigger’s hoodies I took a little peek at their kids clearance section and I have to say I was amazed with the range of items available and the amazing prices. I managed to pick up some t-shirts for both Roo and Tigger in the next size up ready for next summer from as little as £1.99! Bargain!
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Whilst I was familiar with the Saltrock name before ordering these items for the children it wasn’t a brand that I’d actually seen the quality of. Now that the children have their Saltrock hoodies along with some t-shirts which I bought for the summer months I can see this being a site that I return to time and time again. The Saltrock clothing washes well and keeps its shape and size which gives you an indication of the quality of the garments.
I’ve been seeing a few of their Autumn adverts on the TV and have fallen in love with the Saltrock Deep Flora Fur Lined Zip Hoody which I has made its way onto my Christmas wish list and with Piglet arriving before then I don;t have to worry about whether it will fit around my bump.
Disclosure: We received the above items of clothing FOC for the purpose of review
