REVIEW: Monsters University Smartphone

November 13, 2013
A box that has a sign on a wall

Back in September I finally got round to taking Roo and Tigger to see Monsters University at the cinema (thank you 99p kids club!). Whilst we had watched Monsters Inc. at home many (many) times before it was after watching Monsters University that really wet Tigger’s appetite for all things Mike and Sulley! So you can imagine his excitement when KD UK sent through the Monsters University Smartphone for him to review.

Learn more about colours, numbers and all about your favourite Monsters University characters. With four fun games for your little one to enjoy and learn from. The smartphone lights up and responds to let the child know if they have selected the correct answer or whether they need to try again.

Why no press the call button and speak with Mike and Sulley!

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…

The smartphone is large enough for Tigger to be able to press and interact with however not too big that he cannot hold it in one hand. The compact size allows it to be take with us in the car, in the changing bag or round to show Magic Nanny.

From a parents point of view it is great to see it comes complete with the AAA batteries that the smartphone requires. Also as the smartphone is one unit with no lift up pieces etc. it makes it more durable and as Tigger has dropped, thrown and stood on this without it breaking I believe it passes the toddlers destructive test!
