It will come as no surprise to you all that I am partial to a chocolate or two, so when those lovely chocolatiers from Lindt offered me the chance to taste test their Lindt Lindor Caramel Truffles it would have been rude to say no.
Opening the gold coloured box you are greeted by a the caramel truffles individually wrapped in their own special wrapper.
Unwrapping the truffles you are treated to the decadent smooth melting chocolate that LINDOR Milk is known for but with a caramel flavoured centre. The big question is whether to pop the truffle in whole and allow the Lindor chocolate melt on the tongue before getting to the soft caramel centre or to bite in half and enjoy the mix of the chocolate and caramel. Personally I prefer to savor my chocolate so allowing it to melt in my mouth is simply divine.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
The slightly soft truffles gently melt in the mouth allowing you to enjoy the chocolate and the sweetness of the caramel filling. The richness of the truffles allows you to enjoy a couple and then saving the rest for a later time (fabulous at making your chocolate last longer).
The packaging of the truffles is simply gorgeous and I would happy hand over a box of these to say thank you, happy birthday or just because.
Being a lover of chocolate it is sometimes easy to fall into a chocolate rut and purchase/consume the same type of chocolate, by taste testing the Lindor truffles it has opened my eyes and taste buds to a new range of chocolates on my preferred list. Having looked at the Lindt website I note that they do a Hazelhut variety which I must, must, must try (hazelnut flavouring is my absolute weakness).
