Do you ever think about the amount of dirt and germs harbouring on your pushchair/strollers handlebars? Many pushchairs/strollers have the option to wash the seat covers and straps but what about the handlebars? CityGrips recently sent us a pair of their CityGrips Stroller Handlebar Grip Covers to review and see what Boo Roo and Tigger Too thought of them.
I guess I have been lucky with the pushchairs and strollers I have bought for Roo and Tigger, between the two of them I have only ever had 4 (had we not stored Roo’s original pushchair in the loft it would have been used for Tigger Too). I currently have a Zeta Vooom Stroller from Tigger which we have had for almost two years and it is still as good as the day I bought it. The handlebars however do take a bit of a battering, whilst they are still intact they have suffered from the British weather along with mud and dirt. Being black I can only guess whether they are ‘clean’ after I have wiped them over to get any visible dirt from them.
The CityGrips offer parents the opportunity to both accessorise their pushchair/stroller in one of the 10 classic patterns or one of the 6 new 2014 patterns, along with the ability to wash and freshen up the covers as and when needed. Given my obsession love of polka dots I opted for the Polka Dot Black CityGrips to add onto Tigger’s black Zeta Vooom stroller.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
The CityGrips are easy to install onto the handlebars of our Zeta Vooom stroller, however I would have liked the bottom of the cover to have an elasticated edge to ensure it grips the handlebars to make it feel more secure.
The grip covers are soft, plush and comfortable under your hands. The material feels like the neoprene fabric that wetsuits come in so you can tell that it is going to be hardwearing and durable. Priced at just £9.99 I feel that this is a good price given the quality and choice of patterns available. So what are you waiting for? go and jazz up your pushchair or stroller!
