The British weather is doing it’s best at the moment to ensure that we all stay indoors, I’m sure that the energy company bosses are all outside doing a rain dance to earn themselves a bit more money. With weather beating against the window panes, it can be hard to persuade Roo and Tigger that we can’t really go outside so at the weekend I thought I’d try and make being indoors a little more fun.
As Roo has a large collection of teddies and soft toy I thought it only right that I set up a Teddy Bears picnic, however instead of just setting it up and letting them get on with it I opted for a little trail of clues. I made some tags using PicMonkey and printed them out on my new printer…

Once I had my cards I attached some teddy bear ribbon I had from a previous project and a Barny treat then set off placing them all around Roo’s bedroom…
Roo and Tigger had great fun looking for all the cards, reciting the rhyme over and over to make sure they found them in the right order. Best of all, we all got to sit down and enjoy a teddy bears picnic once they’d found all the treats.
What do you do to make playing indoors more fun?
