It’s been a busy couple of weeks as the school holidays are in full swing so as much as I want to rest up and take it easy I’m conscious that Roo and Tigger want me to take them out and about.
Roo was pleased to find out that Piglet is going to be a girl after our 20 week scan, Tigger not so much at first but I think he is slowly coming round to the idea.
Piglet
- Piglet is as big as a Papaya
- Her eyes and lips are more developed, she’s looking even more like a newborn
- Piglet has started to sleep in cycles – about 12 to 14 hours per day
Feeling
Tired and cranky pretty much sums up my last two weeks. I seem to be cranky for no reason at all and at times would rather be left alone which isn’t particularly nice on those around me.
I’ve been having trouble sleeping, not because I can’t get comfortable but a mixture of pregnancy insomnia and too much stuff whizzing through my brain.
Eating
My eating still doesn’t seem to be all that great, so I’m adopting the little and often philosophy rather than sticking to three set meals a day and it seems to be working better for me.
Appointments
No appointments attended or coming up now until I’m 28 weeks. I am still concerned at the lack of support I’m getting through this pregnancy. Whilst I know that Piglet is OK as she is kicking away it’s always reassuring to have a check-up, listen to her heartbeat (which I still haven’t heard) and have my bump measured for size (as I feel the size of a housing estate).
