It always feels funny to be thinking about what the children will be wearing in the Spring. Autumn has only just made an appearance so with the colder days ahead of us, it is nice to think of the warmer days that will eventually return.
One of our wardrobe staples for the children has to be the Nutmeg clothing collection from Morrisons. The price and quality are something make us keep adding items to their wardrobes whenever we are in store.
Nutmeg SS17 Collection
During half term, Nutmeg kindly invited me and the children down to London to see the Nutmeg SS17 collection. The new range has four key trends – Americana, sea, fun with denim and monochrome.
Baby Girls
The spring/summer season for baby girls is dominated by pastel yellows, peaches and a hint of blue. With the collection having a mix and match feel to it, you can have some fun with the different items available.
Older Boys
Tigger was happy to find that the Older Boys section now accommodates boys from age 4 so he can finally fit into the range. With the collection mostly in the monochrome trend, it had some key pieces that could be layered up for chillier days.
Older Girls
Possibly the section where most of our time was spent, as Roo is somewhat of a fashion diva. Whilst the range goes up to age 14, I do love that the clothing doesn’t look ‘too old’ if you know what I mean (I like Roo to look like a young girl, rather than an adolescent). Attention to detail always amazing me with Nutmeg, and the SS17 collection is no different. With the straps on summer dresses being adjustable so that the right amount of skin is on show.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
We loved the Nutmeg SS17 collection. I’m really happy to see that they have extended the older clothing selection from 4-14 years. Tigger has always loved items from the older section, however, even at age 6, he is small for his age so usually misses out.
As I have come to know and love with the Nutmeg clothing range, the prices start from just £2.50 and represent amazing value for money. Plus don’t forget their 200 day no-quibble guarantee!
