A belated Happy Mother’s Day to everyone. This year’s celebrations crept up on me and I was woefully unprepared with a card and gift sent at the last minute. Although with flowers ordered I think I just about pulled it off. It is always a bittersweet day for me as my mum lives ‘Up North’ so little opportunity to spend the day with her. It is what it is and I can’t change it so I just have to accept the situation.
This week’s #LittleLoves…
Read
I’ve been a little rundown of late. My body telling me that I need to rest, make diet changes and time for myself. I’ve turned to Jane Austen’s Emma to allow me to drift off into a world of matchmaking and finding love that was always there.
Watched
Sky – Full on US reality trash (or hold in my case). My 4 Wives, Counting On and Teen Mom OG – perfect for needing to use any brain cells whilst watching.
Netflix – Sticking with Jane Austen I have retreated to the comfort of Pride and Prejudice on an evening whilst working.
Amazon Prime – Grand Tour, we’re woefully behind on with the series. Although this is partly intentional so that we are able to watch a couple of episodes at a time.
Heard
A lovely rendition of Happy Mother’s Day sang to the tune of Happy Birthday from the children at the weekend.
Made
With the Easter holidays approaching it has been time to start making plans. With the start of some big family birthdays this year we are heading to Wales for a few days in April.
Wore
Whilst my friends may not think that my wardrobe requires any further Joules tops. I was very lucky to be treated to three new designs for Mother’s Day. Now every day can be a striped filled day!
Lastly
Piglet has been poorly this week. At first, I thought it was just teething that was making her grizzly. However, a trip to the doctors on Wednesday revealed a throat infection and wheezing so antibiotics and an inhaler prescribed. She appears to be bouncing back but it’s been a few disturbed nights and lots of cuddles this week.
