Last week I finally got round to making a hairdressers appointment for myself. The last time I had my haircut was back in November and even then I wasn’t impressed with the cut but I was in a hurry as it was the day of my 30th Birthday party.
More salt than pepper
My best friend had given me a half price voucher for the hairdressers that she uses, however when I rang to book the appointment I noticed that the voucher had expired in February… so you can tell how long I’ve been meaning to book an appointment. Anyway I was lucky enough to get an appointment for last Saturday morning.
Usually I am quite predictable when it comes to my haircut, a simple tidy up and I’m done. Not this time, this time I was stick of getting up in a morning and tying it up in a ponytail as I either didn’t have time or couldn’t be bother to straighten it. I had an idea of what I was looking for and decided to take the plunge and jump off the deep end.
So this was the old Boo…
Before my appointment I washed my hair in preparation and ran the Nitty Gritty through it (just in case, OMG I would die of shame if I was turned away from the hairdressers with nits!)… Please tell me I’m not the only mum who does this.
After a consultation with the lovely Abbie, I explained the look I was going for, she waved her magic wand and my transformation was complete.
And this is the new Boo…
I think my new hair do makes me look older, more my age instead of trying to pretend I was younger. One thing I do need to do is sort out my Cruella De Vil streak as there is starting to be more salt than pepper in my hair.
Boo xxx
