Despite January feeling at times that it is the longest month of the year. It has passed by all too quickly with us adjusting back into the usual routines of school, work and family life after the festive season. I’m still very much reflecting on the elements that make up my life. Re-evaluating whether I need to make changes to where I apply my time and effort.
How did I get on with last months goals?
Last month I was preparing for the year ahead and whilst I opted not to make resolutions I wanted to make some plans and goals. But how well did I get on?
- Reading – I’m well on the way to meeting my target of 12 books in 12 months and should hopefully read many more than this.
- Me and Mine – It’s been a hectic month with us feeling a little all over the place so we haven’t managed to get a photo of us all to share and commemorate our Me & Mine.
- Reorganisation – We have managed to complete some of the necessary tasks this month. However, the garage could do with us spending an entire day on it. Pulling out all the boxes etc and starting afresh.
My plans and goals for February
Wellbeing on the go
I’m going to be travelling a little more this coming month. For a mixture of work and personal commitments. Usually I’m not very good at eating and drinking when I’m travelling. I want to be more organised and plan ahead for mealtimes and that I’m drinking plenty – even if this does mean another journey stop to use the facilities.
Family-focused
The half-term holidays will have a slightly different feel this time around. With Roo heading off to Italy on a school ski trip. Which leave just Tigger and Piglet at home. I’m hoping to make the most of the two children and visit some of the places that might be a little too young for Roo, but the younger ones will enjoy.
Out with the old
We’re still very much looking to organise and declutter the home and garage. The children keep growing and all their old clothes need to be washed, irons and packed away for car boot season. I’d also like to rearrange Roo’s bedroom whilst she is away skiing.
