The past few weeks I have really felt pregnant, which has come as a bit of a shock to me as I’m only 19 weeks and was hoping to have my second trimester as the one where I ‘glow’. Instead I’m suffering with the heat, feeling tired and aching all over if I’ve been up on my feet for too long.
Whilst catching up with the #BlogBumpClub post last week I read that the lovely Chelle from The Mumington Post (who is due the week before me) has also been feeling the same aches and pains. She had treated herself to a pregnancy massage and it had given her a few days of feeling fabulous. This got me thinking about what I could do to help my aches and pains, when it dawned on me… I’m in need of a pregnancy pamper day.
Having looked at local salons there weren’t any pregnancy treatments that really caught my eye, however I thought back to the fabulous spa experience days that I’ve had with my best friend and thought that this would be a wonderful treat to repeat.
The pool could make me feel weightless (always a bonus), the spa could help me relax, unwind and ease my aching bones whilst the restaurant could fulfil any pregnancy cravings I’m having on that particular day. Plus I can catch up with all the gossip with my best friend at the same time…
*runs off to book!*
What did you do to help your pregnancy aches and pains?
