This Halloween, why not host a Puffin Spooktacular Party?
Celebrating all your favourite characters from the books you love. Whether you fancy becoming a skeleton like the amazing Funnybones book. Dress as a witch like Mildred Hubbard from The Worst Witch series. Or become one Jacqueline Wilsons characters from her epic list of titles.

Recipe Ideas
If you have a little one dressing up as a witch this Halloween, then the Witch’s Vacuum Cleaner Star biscuits would make the perfect treat.
Make your own fancy dress
Whilst you can head out to most supermarkets and purchase Halloween costumes, it is cheaper and much more impressive if you make your own. You don’t need to have amazing crafting skills either with a range of printable Halloween costume ideas.
Halloween Reads
Who said that Halloween has to be all about sweets and trick or treating? Why not give your children the gift of a Halloween read this year. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with Funnybones, but I’m hoping that every child’s bookshelf already has a copy of this book.
Crafts and games
Bobbing for apples and pin the wart on the witch’s nose might be the first Halloween games you think of but there is a great selection of printable Halloween activities available. From making Funnybones bunting or maybe join The Twits for a Halloween game.
Are you hosting a party at home this Halloween?
Disclosure: We received a Halloween Puffin Spooktacular goodie bag FOC in order to have our own party
