Roo has lots of clothes and I mean lots of clothes. She has something for almost every occasion. From everyday jeggings, tops and hoodies to summer dresses, playsuits and snuggly jumpers. She even has a selection of party dresses that she only wears now and again.
Tigger’s wardrobe by comparison is not only smaller but is far more structured by practicality. With a selection of jeans, shorts, t-shirts and tops making up his clothing range. As the weather draws in for another year I’m very conscious that his wardrobe needs somewhat of an overhaul.
Giving Tigger’s wardrobe an overhaul
One of my main niggles is that whenever we are invited to an event that requires smart dress Tigger is usually dressed in a nice pair of jeans and a shirt style polo shirt, and whilst he looks cute turning up in jeans isn’t always the ‘done’ thing. We have got several events coming up before Christmas and then hopefully Piglet’s christening in the New Year so I’ve been looking at boys suits to find him something that he can wear as a complete suit or slightly less formal by taking off the tie and waistcoat.
For the everyday he hasn’t got a single jumper to his name, whilst some of his long-sleeved tops will keep the chill off with a vest added underneath you can’t beat a nice chunky knit jumper or cardigan. Something to really snuggle into and keep the winter chills at bay.
It’s not just jumpers that he needs his PJ’s are short and t-shirt style so really needs to have tops and trouser style ones but want to get him something funky as he likes to stay in his PJ’s around the house if we aren’t going anywhere (he gets that from me, I’d stay in my PJ’s all day, everyday if I could).
With Piglet arriving and my ability to drive taken away for at least six weeks we will be walking around the local area much more so a new winter coat is a must have. I have my eye on a Peter Pea style coat that is similar to a coat that Mr Boo owns and can’t wait to see just how cute he looks in it.
Hopefully by buying him some key items he will be able to get through the winter months nice and cosy whilst looking super cute.
Do you re-evaluate your children’s wardrobes as the weather turns cooler?
