When we bought our first home together we never really gave it much thought about how to add value to it, we were happy just to live there and only moved as we needed somewhere bigger in order to start a family. Moving from a flat to a house we were acutely aware that there was so much to do to it in order for us to add value to our home. With the house being covered in woodchip from top to bottom and the hideous carpets I’ve ever seen some of the renovations were obvious.

It was only as we lived in the house that we really understand how it worked for a family so the addition of a hotel style bathroom really gave it that wow factor as well as being practical for children who like to splash water everywhere whenever they are in the bathtub. Making changes to an over stairs cupboard allowed us to gain valuable wall space in the middle bedroom whilst giving the front bedroom much-needed extra storage.
