Last year Tigger was introduced to the world of Fireman Sam whilst we were at Butlins after popped along to see a show in the character theatre. Fireman Sam has been gracing our screens for over 20 years and many parents will remember tuning into watch the first few episodes of the welsh valley village of Pontypandy (which is actually based on two welsh villages Pontypridd and Tonypandy).
With a wide range of different clothing, videos and toys to choose from Fireman Sam has become a household name, especially if you have any budding fire fighters in your house. Tigger recently received the Fireman Sam Rescue Receiver from KD Planet and he has been running around the house attending to emergencies ever since.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Now this is very unlike me but I think that it could do with being a little louder. Sometimes it can be difficult for Tigger to hear what is being said especially if there is background noise from the TV etc. Other than that I have to say that I think it is a good little hand held unit that can be easily popped into a bag and taken with you, although the introduction of a power switch would be useful, as we had it in our bag on a recent London trip and I kept wondering what the noise was and it turned out to be Fireman Sam telling me that there was an emergency. The games are educational without Tigger realising and are fun to complete.
With a £12.99 RRP it represents good value for money, especially if you are able to pick this up cheaper in a sale. The Fireman Sam Rescue Receiver is available from Amazon, Very and all good toy retailers.
Disclosure: We received a Fireman Sam Rescue Receiver FOC for the purpose of review.
