When I first started Boo Roo and Tigger Too back in August 2011 I never for a moment thought that it would lead me to the amazing opportunities that I have had the chance to work on. Whilst the majority of the time blogging is just me sat at my dining room table typing away on my Chromebook. Writing about life, products, the places we have been etc. There are times when I get to go out into the big wide world and meet new people. Whether I’m meeting new bloggers at events or conferences, meetings that I have arranged with brands and clients or amazing events that I have been fortunate enough to have been invited to.
It’s the times when I am away from my computer screen meeting all these new people and introducing Boo Roo and Tigger Too the blog to them that I need a little something for them to remember me by and to hoping get in touch with me in the future. Whilst nothing beats a good old fashion pen and paper, (however it is only when I write out my blog URL and email address that I realise that I should have chosen something a little shorter) handing over a professionally printed business card is not only quicker but looks so much better than a scrap of paper with details hastily written down.
With my recent makeover I needed to get some new business cards printed to reflect my new style and grown up feel. Heading over to Fast Print I was on the look out for something more than the basic business card. Looking at all the different options I decided that a gloss business cards would help me make that professional impression when I needed to hand them out.
Ordering
Placing my order for 250 gloss business cards, I uploaded my design late one evening and switched off my Chromebook. First thing the next morning I received a telephone call to say that my chosen design was going to be very close to the edge and would I like to resubmit an altered design or if I preferred they could add a small border around the edge of the card. Opting for the small border to be added, the gentleman I spoke with suggested that instead of a white border it was the rose colour to match my blog header (such a lovely touch and certainly someone who was going the extra mile). Having confirmed the amendments I thought nothing of it until I got an email later in the day to advise that my cards had been printed and would be delivered the next day – I had anticipated that they wouldn’t arrive for a few days so was very happy to see that I would be getting them before my next London trip.
Delivery
As promised the cards arrived the following day. Upon opening my package I wasn’t disappointed with my order, if anything I was silently giving myself a mental high-five for designing such cute business cards.
The rose border really adds that finished edge to the cards and I’m really impressed that Fast Print took the time to contact me regarding my design when they could have simply printed them and left me with a design that was too close to the edge to look professional.
I ordered 250 gloss business cards costing £45.00 which I’m sure will keep me going for a little while however I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.
Disclosure: I received 250 business cards FOC for the purpose of review – however I really do love them!
