After a long but lovely day in London yesterday we were all feeling a little slow this morning. Poor Mr Boo unfortunately had to go to work, no rest for the wicked (or so they say).
We managed to spend most of the day around the house, playing in the garden and sorting out unfinished housework (why don’t the fairies come and do it all when you are asleep?).
By late afternoon I suddenly realised I hadn’t cooked the pork I’d promised Mr Boo that I would and as we were just about to go out I turned to Facebook looking for instructions on how I could cook it in my slow cooker (that I’ve had for at least three months but never used… oops). Thankfully my epic friends were there to offer advice (and Mr Boo assures me it was delicious).
After popping the pork into the slow cooker, I bundled the children into the car telling them that we were off to see Daddy at work (although I had a secret up my sleeve). I love going to Norwich, I grew up in a city before making the move down south with my parents at 14yrs old so I miss the hustle and bustle of city life, being able to get whatever you need without having to drive out of town to a retail park etc.
Whilst visiting Mr Boo is his store Tigger made me laugh, ‘go Daddy, you need to do some working’ hehe and with that we were off, I had promised them a MacDondalds so I think Daddy was dismissed in favour of some fries (sorry Mr Boo). Roo and Tigger sat munching on their food and I suggested that we could either go home or pop to see Scooby Doo Live at the Theatre Royal… I’ll let you guess which one they opted for!
Another late night for the kiddiwinks but it was really worth it, plus Roo got to meet some of the cast (she was sooooo happy).
What did you get up to today?
