Christmas is an important time of the year. It is a time for spending time with the family and reconnecting with friends. With the demands of work schedules, school activities and general family life, more of us are looking to go away over the festive period. A chance to recharge the batteries, a chance to get all of the family together in one place and a chance to make the most of the time away from the hustle and bustle of the year.
Whilst booking a trip away at Christmas sounds ideal, it can pose those big important questions from the children…
How will Santa know where to find me?
What will happen to my Christmas presents?
HomeAway conducted some research and found that a massive proportion of British children are still sending their Christmas wish lists to the North Pole, but they’re worried that when they travel to see friends and family over Christmas, Father Christmas won’t know where to drop the pressies!
As a result, Reroute Santa was born!
Launched by HomeAway, this simple, interactive tool lets children communicate with the North Pole about exactly where they will be celebrating Christmas this year. Children using the site will even get a personalised e-letter back from Father Christmas, acknowledging the sleigh will take a detour for them this year. How cute is that?
So whilst you are making the last-minute travel plans, ensuring that you’ve packed everything you need to pack… Make sure you don’t forget to reroute Santa and ensure that your little ones know that no matter where they are in the world, Santa can always deliver their Christmas presents.
Are you planning to go away this Christmas?
Don’t forget to reroute Santa
Disclosure: This is a collaborative post, however, don’t forget to reroute Santa otherwise you might not get any presents this year!
