Over the past year or so Tigger has become much more aware of different characters especially when it comes to clothing and accessories. Whenever we are out and about he will spot a familiar character on a t-shirt or bag and instantly wish that he had that particular item.
The trouble I have with character clothing is the cost, with the average t-shirt costing more than an ordinary t-shirt. I did manage to find some cheap character t-shirts in a store recently however with just one wash the image had started to fade and on one of the tops it started to peel off.
When Lamaloli got in touch asking us to try out their range of character clothing I jumped at the chance to buy Tigger some much wanted Spiderman clothing.

Character clothing is usually quite expensive as you are paying for the brand licence, not on Lamaloli with t-shirts starting at just £2.95 I suddenly realised that I as going to get much more for £40.00 than I had originally thought. Instead of getting maybe three or four tops I managed to get Tigger two t-shirts, one long-sleeved top, a t-shirt and shorts set, and two pairs of pyjamas!
Arriving within a couple of days of ordering Tigger was so excited when I opened the box to show him his new character clothing. I ordered him size 5T (age 4-5) which is on the big side for his petite age 4 frame but at least he’ll have growing room.
As a parent wash-ability is a big factor when it comes to purchasing children’s clothing (especially with Tigger as he can be rather messy). These items have been washed twice already and have kept their shape and size, and most importantly the design hasn’t faded. I can see this being a site that I return to throughout the year to purchase new items for Roo and Tigger as well as gifts for friends children too.
