A bright and colourful book aimed at pre-school children helping them learn different colours. Children are introduced to 13 different colours and monsters throughout the book. With some familiar colours like red, white and blue along with some unfamiliar ones like maroon and lilac.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
The colour pages and monsters really drew Tigger in and he was excited to turn each page to see what new colour and monster lay ahead. At two and half he managed to recognised most of the 13 colours included in the book, although I don’t think the ‘brown’ page is very brown.
Personally I think this is a great way to introduce children to different colours and shades. By showing this book early enough they will understand that the different shades of colours available. I do feel that the book may appeal more to boys than girls due to the monster theme.
