I’m always after the best deal whenever I buy anything, from my groceries, clothing to gifts and larger items. I am that person you see standing in a store on her phone looking to see whether it is cheaper to buy there or at another store.
Price hunting however can be somewhat of a hassle and I don’t always have the time to look at different websites to make sure that I am in fact getting the best possible price.
Bespoke Offers has just launched a new Beat My Price service which will not only take out the hassle of price hunting but is also so simple to use that you’ll be left wondering why you ever spend so long price hunting before.
How to use Beat My Price
The principle of Beat My Price is very easy, as easy as 1, 2, 3…
- Find a product that you would like to buy from a large online retailer (e.g. Amazon, John Lewis, Argos etc)
- Copy the URL to the product you are looking for and paste it into the Beat My Price bar – a search takes up to 48 hours and you’ll be notified by email with the best price
- If you are happy with the Beat My Price saving then you are able to purchase the product at the discounted price – prices are valid for 24 hours and you are not obligated to buy anything!
My Beat My Price Journey
I’m sure I’m not the only parent who’s children always seem to have a never-ending wishlist of new toys and games that they would like (thanks to the toy adverts during children’s programming). Whilst I love to buy Roo and Tigger the odd treat here and there I do like to teach them the value of money, so they have been saving and raising money for some new toys and games for a little while. With them finally close to having enough money to buy what they are longing for I thought that this would be the best time to try out the new Beat My Price service to hopefully save them a little bit extra of their long for item.
Thomas & Friends Tidmouth Sheds Playset
Tigger has been saving up the money he had left over from Christmas together with the money that he has just got for Easter in order to add the Thomas & Friends Tidmouth Sheds Playset to his extensive range of Take-n-Play trains.
Looking on Argos it is still full price at £32.99 which is just over his budget and whilst I’m happy to add a couple of pounds to it so that he can finally have Tidmouth Sheds I do want to know that I have got the best price for his money.
Original price – £32.99
Beat My Price – £28.79
Saving – £4.20 (12.7%)
Super Smash Bros, Nintendo 3DS
Roo has recently gone through all her old Nintendo DS games and has traded them in at one of our local games stores for cash. Not sure what she wanted to buy at the time she opted to save it until she had found the right game. After seeing an advert on the TV for the Super Smash Bros, Nintendo 3DS game she has now decided that this is the game for her.
Looking on John Lewis the game is £31.95 which feels a little pricey for my liking so I have sent a Beat My Price request to see whether I can get it for cheaper and save Roo some money.
Original price – £31.95 + £3.00 P&P
Beat My Price – £29.80 (free delivery)
Saving – £5.15 (14.7%)
Adding my required product URL was so simple, you enter the quantity of the item that you require and then sit back and wait to see what Beat My Price come back with, my searches came back within about 4 hours of submission so well within the 48 hours they state it will take.
So what are you waiting for, try out the Beat My Price service today to see how much you could save without the hassle – please share how much you were able to share via Twitter using the #BeatMyPrice hashtag
