DISCOVER THE MYSTERY OF THE LOST ENGINE IN BRAND NEW THOMAS & FRIENDS™ FEATURE LENGTH DVD ‘BLUE MOUNTAIN MYSTERY’

Thomas and Blue Mountain Mystery

In this latest adventure, the Fat Controller sends Thomas to work at the Blue Mountain Quarry where Thomas spots an engine he’s never seen before trying to hide. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Thomas tracks down and befriends Luke who tells Thomas he’s hiding because he did something that’s so bad he could be sent away from the Island of Sodor forever! Thomas does not believe this and sets off on a journey to discover the story of this poor runaway engine. On the way he learns of engines brought to Sodor from faraway lands and of an accident in Brendam Docks where an engine fell into the sea. But only when he’s learned every piece of the story can Thomas convince his new friend that there’s no reason to hide.

In addition to the DVD, a large selection of brand new Blue Mountain Mystery tie-in products including books, games, engines, playsets from Fisher-Price and accessories based on this engaging new story will soon be available.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts

As Tigger fell asleep just before the showing, he managed to miss the entire screening. However it does give me a great excuse to watch the film again!

Roo really enjoyed experiencing the film in 4D, with the movement of the seats and splashes of water it really made the film come alive for her. She left the film talking about Thomas’ new friend Luke and how much she enjoyed meeting the new trains.

I am also happy to see a children’s film that as a hidden ‘good deed’ meaning. The Blue Mountain Mystery certainly has this… there are two sides to every story and that you should trust/stick by your friends.
