As soon as Roo came home from school she spotted the daysack on the dining table and said ‘that looks nice Mummy… just my size‘. Very subtly hinting that maybe she could use it. After teasing her for a few minutes (yes I am that sort of cruel Mummy), I explained that it was in fact for her.
My initial concerns about not being able to carry many things in the daysack were unfounded. Roo managed to fit her packed lunch, Nintendo DS, doddle pad and pens… and still had space!
The bag itself has some great features, including a D-ring on the back of the daysack. This can be used for either hanging the bag up or is compatible with the toddler daysack reins (although I don’t think Roo would like me very much if I attached the reins to her bag).
A handy bottle holder on the outside insures that any leakages don’t affect the contents.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Despite being a pale aqua colour Roo loved the bag (she’s usually a pink/purple type of girl), especially the flower design on the front. She felt grown up by having her own bag with her when we went on a Teddy Bears picnic.
For me, I loved that cute size of the bag meaning that Roo could easily wear it. Seeing Roo gain a little piece of independence when heading off on her latest adventure was just lovely. I was quite surprised at just how much you could fit in just one little bag.
