This is a gifted partnership
With the Easter holidays underway for us (although some parts of the UK don’t start until next week), it’s time to think about activities for the children. Who needs a chocolate filled Easter Egg hunt when you can go on an extra special one with #YoshisCraftedWorld at KidZania London!
Yesterday we were invited along to KidZania London to take a look at the new Nintendo Switch game Yoshi’s Crafted World. As well as take part in the special Yoshi’s Easter Egg Hunt that is running across the Easter holidays. A wonderful way to enjoy the thrill of an Easter Egg Hunt whilst getting to explore KidZania London.
Yoshi’s Crafted World
First stop was to visit the pop-up Nintendo Switch area in the main square which gave the children the opportunity to be introduced to the new Yoshi’s Crafted World game. Allowing them to get hands-on and explore the new game for themselves.
Popping on one of the amazing Yoshi’s Crafted World hats, grabbing a Joy-Con controller it was time to see just what you can do in the new Nintendo Switch game.
Jump into a new Yoshi adventure in a world made of everyday objects – like boxes and paper cups! As Yoshi, you’ll leap up high, gulp down enemies, and set out on a treasure hunt to find all the different collectables. On the flip side, stages can be played backwards, providing new perspectives to explore and new ways to locate some of the more craftily hidden items! It all started when Kamek and Baby Bowser set out to steal a gem-set stone. Legend has it that this fabled artefact can grant the bearer their wildest dreams! But when the artefact’s gems are sent flying, it falls upon Yoshi and friends to find them. Luckily, saving the day can be cooperative and challenging.
Pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend to team up as fellow Yoshis. Also, Mellow mode gives Yoshi wings for a breezier experience, which may come in handy! Finding all the flowers, coins, and Poochy Pups is no small feat! For extra protection, suit up in one of the handicraft costumes you can unlock in-game.
Yoshi’s Easter Egg Hunt at KidZania London
Once the gaming fun is over it is time to get out into KidZania and explore the city built exclusively for children. And what better way to do this than with a Yoshi’s Easter Egg Hunt giving you the opportunity to solve the clues and find the hidden eggs around the ground floor of KidZania.
Children who egg-cel and complete the hunt will receive 10 KidZo’s and a very special Yoshi’s Easter Egg Hunt certificate. And that’s not all yolks, those who take part will also be in with a chance to WIN a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Yoshi’s Crafted World and so much more!
Armed with a clue sheet, pencil and of course the funky hat gained during the gaming demonstration. The children headed out into KidZania on the hunt for Yoshi’s hidden eggs. As we have visited KidZania before, Roo and Tigger had a good idea of where to look, however, the clues were relatively easy to solve so it wouldn’t matter if this was your first visit.
Once the clues were solved, KidZo’s gained and certificate handed over, it was time for one last Yoshi themed activity before exploring the rest of the KidZania activities and jobs… A photo in front of the special Yoshi’s Crafted World photo wall – which if you share on social media gives you the chance to win a Nintendo Switch and a copy of the new Yoshi’s Crafted World game.
