There is a big part of me that is pleased that the children don’t go back to school for at least another week. I have no idea where this first week has gone. Lost in an array of days out and catching up on tasks at home I don’t feel as though we have stopped. Next week doesn’t look any quieter either, so I have to hope for a quiet Easter weekend instead.

Do train timetables count? I hope so, as I think that is the only thing that I have managed to read this week. We visited the North Norfolk Railway at the weekend, so I’ve been busy studying which train we would need from Norwich to Sheringham.
Watched
Roo and I finally managed to have a girlie date at the cinema watching Beauty and the Beast. I feel as though everyone else had seen it before us but thankfully had managed to keep away from any spoilers to the film (although it is very similar to the animated version). I have to confess to us both sobbing our hearts out at the storyline, despite knowing what was going to happen we couldn’t help but shed a tear or two. I’m not sure if it was because it was live-action we could relate to it more or not but we should have packed tissues.
Heard
With lots of travelling completed this week, it has been down to our trusty iPod in the car to get us through the miles. With Mr. Boo concentrating on the road I was luckily enough to be left in charge of the music selection. So I thought I’d take us back to when we left school and through the early years of our dating – Now 40 through to Now 50 on random selection… Fantastic!

I’m in the middle of painting our new wheelie bin cover in a beautiful forget me not blue. It’s quite fiddly and time-consuming but I think it will look fab once it is completed.
Wore
The weather at the moment doesn’t know what to do with itself. One minute it is warm and sunny, and the next it has clouded over and is freezing cold. So I’ve been living in my navy cardigans this week, perfect for slipping over a short-sleeved top.
Lastly
It is very rare that we all get a week off together, so we have been making the most of having Mr. Boo with us for the first week of the holidays. With lots of trips, driving, and hotels I’m sure that he will be pleased to get back to work tomorrow. However, we are going to miss him for the rest of the holidays.
