Filby Village Fete 2011

August 30, 2011

As part of my ‘Last week as a SAHM’ we went to the Filby Village Fete yesterday on Bank Holiday Monday.

The weather was looking like it could turn at any minute which may have put a lot of people off as it did not seem as busy as it usually is and not as many stalls and rides.

A group of people in a field

My niece came along as well as Magic Nanny and the girls seemed to enjoy themselves…

Eating cake…

A little boy that is eating some grass
There was so much jam inside Roo’s doughnut and
the green icing on Charlie’s cupcake made her teeth turn green!!!

Playing on the inflatable obstacle course…

Inflatable
Unfortunately Roo had a few problems trying to get on it

And playing on the play park (where they seemed to spend most of the afternoon)…

A little girl playing with a toy in a park

Tigger was very well behaved sitting in his pushchair all afternoon and still managed to find a smile for me…

A person holding a baby

Luckily the weather held out and the kiddies had fun. i was disappointed not see as many stalls as in previous years especially charity fundraising stalls.
