Meet Tigger, to look at him you would think that butter wouldn’t melt. Generally speaking he is a good little boy, his eating however is a nightmare. And when I say a nightmare I am not talking about ‘oh he won’t eat this vegetables‘, I’m talking about the fact that he won’t eat most foods.
This sweet looking child only eats a handful of foods and is fussy about his drinks too (hence his own juice cup above whenever we eat out anywhere). One of the foods he does eat is fromage frais, which at face value is great as it contains calcium, much needed for healthy bones especially as he doesn’t eat cheese or drink milk.
My main worry about him eating fromage frais regularly as part of his diet is the amount of sugar contained within fromage frais, especially as he can eat at least two a day. Thankfully it seems that I am not the only parent worrying about the amount of sugar in foods as recent research commissioned by Munch Bunch® amongst 1,000 Mums and 1,000 Dads throughout Great Britain in February 2015 by OnePoll showed that 62% of of Mums and Dads are put off by sugar levels indicated on ingredients lists when choosing food products for their children. With almost four out of ten (36%) of parents feeling that consuming too much sugar is a concern in relation to their children’s diets overall.
Munch Bunch® 30% Less Sugar fromage frais
Following this recent research Munch Bunch have launched their new Munch Bunch® 30% Less Sugar fromage frais…
Munch Bunch® 30% Less Sugar is the lowest sugar fruit fromage frais for children you can buy, contains less than one teaspoon of sugar per pot and is made with all natural ingredients. All Munch Bunch® dairy products are made with fruit purée and contain no artificial sweeteners, colours nor preservatives. Now you can have more choice over your child’s sugar intake, without compromising on taste.
I have to confess that I was nervous about switching over to the Munch Bunch® 30% Less Sugar fromage frais as Tigger is a stickler for foods that he likes which includes certain brands too. As he already enjoys Munch Bunch® I hoped that they lived up to the promise of not compromising on taste.
Thankfully they past the taste test from Tigger (huge sigh of relief) and I can now feel better about the amount of fromage frais he eats in a day.
